I love food and snacks. But I hate having to buy them. If you are thinking it is because I detest supermarkets then you are wrong. The reason I don’t enjoy grocery shopping is because of the other annoying shoppers! No, not everyone bothers me, I am not a misanthrope, I assure you. But there are certain shoppers that ruin the experience of shopping for me, these are: 

1. The Follower 

This type of shopper is one who buys the same things as you to the point that you start wondering whether or not they are stalking you. Just to make sure, you go left, instead of right as you had originally planned, and they turn left too! All the scenes from ‘YOU’ (a TV series) come in your mind and you no longer enjoy browsing through the isles. 

1. The confused shopper 

These shoppers possibly are the most annoying ones. You move to the meat section and there’s someone in front of you already, ordering what they want. You think, sure no problem, it’s not going to take very long. That is until you see them changing their order. “Oh no, sorry, I didn’t want that. Please give me meatballs instead of minced meat.” The frustration you feel when this happens is indescribable. If you are one of those who do that, then please note how annoying this habit is for the other customers.

1. Line Breaker 

There was a sale that resulted in a long line forming at the cashiers. You are also a victim of the sale and how you find yourself standing in a long queue waiting to be billed. Finally, you reach the front of the line and just as you were about to push your trolley forward, someone crosses you and ends up taking your place. Children are cute and a joy to be around generally. And you know sometimes they throw tantrums and showcase that they can be the most annoying creatures on the planet. You understand that. However, when you see children running around isles, throwing things down with parents not stopping them at all...that’s the time when you again wonder why you decided to grocery shop and not order from home. 

In conclusion, thanks to these shoppers I have learnt that the best place to shop groceries is at home, in your cozy bed.
