Taking carbohydrates is also very necessary when you are expecting because it provides you and your baby with extra energy. You can get carbohydrates from starchy food because it is included in potatoes, cereals, pasta, rice, oats, grains, maize, and bread. At the same time, every pregnant woman must eat 9 to 11 servings of carbohydrates per day.

Fruits 

Fruits are also an excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Pregnant women need food rich in fiber, minerals, vitamins, and iron because these nutrients keep a body healthy. Eating raw fruits also provides you fiber, and it prevents constipation in pregnant ladies. Some fruits are good for expecting mothers, while some fruits carry risks when they are eaten during pregnancy. For instance, apple, mango, banana, orange, cherries, apricot, pomegranate, berries, watermelon, kiwi are the fruits that are considered good food for pregnancy. On the other hand, grapes, papaya, and pineapple are bad fruits during pregnancy and pose a potential risk to the fetus.

Foods To Avoid During Pregnancy
