Share Your Blessings with Howmuch’s Ramadan Packages

Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic Calendar, and one that is considered the most blessed month. During this Holy Month, Muslims all around the world fast and ask Allah for forgiveness for their sins, seek His blessings and try to do maximum ibadat possible. These 29 or 30 days are the training months for Muslims on how they should spend the rest of their lives during the rest of the year.

Not only is fasting obligatory to Muslims during Ramadan, but those Muslims who are able to do charity are also obliged to do it during the month too. You get a chance to clean your mind, body and soul during thsi month. When you fast, you get a better understanding of those suffering and develop compassion for the poor and less fortunate.

In Pakistan, a lot of families find it hard to meet their daily grocery needs, and even during the blessed month, find their sehris and iftars very little or no food. Howmuch has designed special ramadan grocery packages that contain all the essential items required by any household. You could purchase it for yourself as well as those you can help. Here are some other ideas about how you can share the joy with other Muslims:

Send Iftar to Neighbours:

Islam gives great importance to one’s neighbours. So, make sure to send iftar to your neighbours and mosques. Food is the universal language of sincerity, peace and generosity, so use it to your advantage! Plan the days you want to send iftar to your neighbours and make food accordingly.

Give Kids Cards and Candies:

Kids’ minds are like blank pages of paper. You need to fill them with good traditions, memories and actions so their minds shape up well and they turn out to be good individuals of the society. Show them kindness and they will replicate it. Giving them cute cards, candies, balloons and things of the sort help them in falling in love with the holy month and waiting for it!

Iftar Gatherings:

Islam encourages brotherhood and hospitality. Strengthen your ties with your friends and relatives by having them over for iftar. Making someone open their fast with your food gives you a lot of sawab (reward) too. At the gathering, be cordial and friendly. Keep in mind, to not turn the Iftar gathering into a ‘party’. Be respectful and religious, breaking fast together, praying together, etc.

Take the responsibility of feeding someone:

I am not saying to make food for 20 people extra every day, but I am suggesting to make food for at least one person each day. It’s best to take responsibility for a person during this month. Know that whatever you spend in Allah’s way, He rewards you double and triple. So, if you are in a position to help others, don’t hesitate!

Help Around the House:

Ramadan is supposed to be the month of Ibadat for both Muslim men and women. Men who let the women of their house be in the kitchen for 29-30 days during the Holy Month, while praying themselves should reevaluate themselves. Holy Prophet (SAW) used to help Hazrat Ayesha, his wife in the house. Muslim brothers need to keep this in mind and be helpful in the house.

Visit Orphanages with Gifts:

Take food and grocery packages with you when you visit orphanages, which you should during Ramadan. If you can, take gifts for children too. Break your fast with the young children there, engage with them, make them feel good and by Allah, you will be rewarded a lot.
