Eid-ul-Azha is also referred to as Meaty Eid and most of us cannot stop eating all the deliciously cooked meat items.

Yes, too much of anything is risky so is eating meat. Red meat (beef, mutton, lamb) can cause food poisoning, coronary heart diseases, and strokes if consumed in large quantity. 

Red meat is also high in cholesterol; therefore, you must avoid the fatty part.

2: MEAT & COLA, NOT A GOOD COMBO

Are you one of those who say cola helps in digestion? Well, No, the fizzy drinks can have ill effects on your overall health. 

According to one study, drinking cola while you eat meat increase the chance of cancer. Don’t want to ruin your Eid any further, just be careful. 



3: EXERCISE ON EID, WHILE YOU CAN

Doing light to moderate exercise during Eid holidays can help you digest all the meat you’ve consumed. 

No matter if you have a workout ritual or not, a simple walk and consuming 10-12 glasses of water can help you digest food quickly.

4: TAKE A BREAK FROM BAR B QUE

All the tempting food like steak, BBQ tikka, Biryani, and dessert items can be overwhelming for everyone. 

BUT, remember, you need to give a break to your stomach or else you’ll have an upset stomach. The recommended break between meals should be at least 5 hours. 


5: EAT YOUR VEGGIES, FELLOWS

We know vegetables can easily get ignored in front of grilled meaty items but consuming veggies can help you digest food without much trouble. 

To avoid constipation and stomach cramps, you’ll have to add veggies and fruits in your diet and adding salads with a large meal can be beneficial. 


6: EAT HEALTHY BREAKFAST

Eid festival is a festival of a treat. Your breakfast must be filled with healthy fruits and other essential nutrients. Consume low-calorie food for breakfast so that you can eat all through the day. Eat oranges, eggs, smoothie in the breakfast.

Eid is the festival fo sharing happiness with one another. So, share happiness along with sweets with your family and dear ones. This will prevent you from eating sweets in excess and will restrict your sugar intake.
